Introduction to Lesson 4: How to Make Every Word Sing

Introduction to Lesson 4: How to Make Every Word Sing

"Words mean more than what is set down on paper. It takes the human voice to infuse them with deeper meaning."
– Maya Angelou

What to expect in this lesson

In this lesson we are going to explore how you can be vocally engaging, so people do three things:

  1. They listen to you

  2. They believe you

  3. They are moved to act in some as a result of what you've just said

We will explore how you can create interest, and we're going to utilise a selection of simple yet powerful vocal techniques to make sure your words sing.

In other words, that they engage, inspire and move people to action.

So, just as gestures and body movement create visual interest, you can use your voice to also create interest and attention.
